AT A GLANCE
WHAT IS INCLUDED
At $1790.00, the camp includes fencing training, all lunches, afternoon recreational trips, scheduled wine tastings, two dinners, as well as transportation to and from these venues.
Non-fencers who wish to join are most welcomed to do so at a cost of $990.00. We have at times arranged for side activities like a cooking class for non-fencers, though the probability of which is dependent on the location of the camp.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
Airfare and accommodation is not included.
However, we will provide hotel recommendations and make all the necessary bookings for you upon receiving your travel dates.
Venue recommendations will also be provided on evenings where there isn't an included dinner.
COACHES
MICHAEL MARX is a five-time Olympian and the only fencer in the last 60 years to have made the US Olympic team in two weapons- foil and epee. He is a five time USOC Athlete of the Year with a record eight US National championships in foil. Michael has been inducted into both the USFA and Oregon Sports Hall of Fame. He has had students on five Olympic teams.
THOMAS THEUERKAUFF is a four-time German Champion and winner of the Champions League (Coupe d’Europe des Clubs) in 1989. He has made numerous World Cup finals and was for over 10 years ranked in the world's top twenty standings. Thomas has been the head fencing coach at Medoc Fencing Club in France since 2000.
